Cucumber (picklers)

Price per pound.

Gherkin: typically harvested at 2-3" in length.  European style spines (smaller but more of them), great flavor with a crisp texture.  Excellent for mini-pickles.  Pat's favorite for mini-dills.

Excelsior: typically harvested at 4-5" in length.  American style spines, blocky with excellent flavor.  Tom's preferred cucumber for making sliced pickles, especially bread and butter style.
